What is a CJS ?
The LaSalle Youth Co-op are groups of 12-15 girls and boys aged between 12 to 17 years old. Together and with the help of their community, they rise to the challenge of creating their cooperative business and therefore create their own job in their neighborhood. They offer various services to the community (paint work, babysitting, lawn mowing, etc.)
They have a cooperative decision-making structure, they divide the tasks and responsabilities for the management of their cooperative and for the related services they decide to provide to the community. They benefit from practical and intensive training in collective entrepreneurship.
CAED is a support center dedicated to entrepreneurship located in Cavelier-De-LaSalle High School. It is financed by la Caisse Desjardins de LaSalle and sponsored by le Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi de LaSalle. It was created for the benefit of all the students of the school.
