  • Foster young parents’ academic success to ensure enrollment in a professional program (DEP, DEC, etc)
  • Enable young parents to address issues that may compromise their academic success

  • Action plan development
  • Psychosocial follow-up
  • Group workshops including parent-child relationship topics.
  • Social and educational activities
  • Volunteering
  • Visits in other related useful community organizations

Destination Succès PACC
18 years old and more
Pearson Adult Career Center (PACC) students
Status: Be financed by Emploi-Québec
Duration: During studies

Goals

  • Foster school success
  • Decrease absenteeism rate by responding to the problems faced by the student

Content/Activities

  • Individual counselling
  • Support and follow-up
  • Workshops
  • Social activities

Créneau Carrefour Jeunesse
15 -19 years old
LaSalle residents exclusively
Status: Young dropouts or at-risk
Duration: Unlimited

Goals

  • Foster school perseverance by specifying life project
  • Provide tools and necessary support to develop participant’s self-esteem and determination

Content/Activities

  • Various activities depending on the needs of the person (tutor search, company visit, etc.)
